Location is wonderful! Very walkable, just a couple blocks from the metro or bus stops. Nice restaurants and shops just nearby. Overall the room was comfortable and the bed was heavenly. Also, despite being in a busy area we couldn’t hear any street noise. The staff were very attentive, always greeting us. And we appreciated the free welcome drink!

Great, helpful staff! Excellent breakfast with full buffet and eggs to order. Large dining room. Location to La Sagrada Familia about a 32 minute casual walk (in good weather). Near a number of restaurants. Outdoor restaurant by pool was a nice place to eat, but very slow (as is often the case in Europe) service. I've travelled the world and Barcelona is one of the coolest places we've been. The architecture alone was worth the visit. Just amazing and a pleasant surprise.

The staff are exceptionally helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect. We travel to Barcelona a few times a year and recently decided to try the Alexandra instead of our previous hotel. Needless to say the Alexandra is our new favourite. Love the vibe of the pool. Perfect for a morning of relaxation before hitting the sites or shops.

From the moment I arrived, everything felt curated - the interior design, textures, even the scent in the lobby. The staff were attentive without being intrusive - just that quiet, high-end service you rarely find. The location couldn’t be better: a few steps from everything, yet peaceful and refined at night. Every detail - from the bedding to the lighting - felt considered and elevated. Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Barcelona.

The hotel is really beautiful - set off the busy, hot pavement from a stone’s throw from all the expensive shops and you step into a serene, comfortable and welcoming lobby area with beautiful, squishy sofas. All staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable about the sights to see. The breakfast was a vast range of absolutely delicious food - staff in the breakfast bar were excellent - welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious, calming with the lovely concrete style decor. The pool and terrace were great too. Everything about our stay was absolutely superb. If we come to Barcelona again, I would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Alexandra Barcelona Hotel. The staff at reception and in the bar/restaurant were lovely and very friendly. We received a free upgrade on arrival and our room was beautiful. We also really liked the location of this hotel.

The location was perfect! Really centric. The room was really clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the 'solomillo' restaurant on the ground floor, the food was amazing. Also, the stuff was really friendly. They made us feel at home :)

I only stayed for the weekend to meet my friends who I haven’t seen for like years. It’s a beautiful property and will definitely go back. Maybe soon when I bring my husband for a short visit.

Not knowing where to stay in Barcelona, this was in a great location. Staff welcomed us early, as we just disembarked our cruise. They kept our luggage until our room was ready. Very accommodating and our room was ready in an hour.
